This comprehensive training programme is specifically tailored for procurement practitioners, auditors, and members of procurement committees. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the recent amendments to Jamaica’s Public Procurement Act and Regulations (2025), equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate GOJ procurement landscape effectively.
Course Objectives
Throughout this course participants will explore:
- Legislative changes to Jamaica’s Public Procurement Framework
- The impact of the 2025 amendments on the execution of procurement activities, with a focus on key provisions such as standstill notices, exempt goods and services, emergency and extreme urgency procedures, revised approval limits, and the levels of competition.
Participants will have 5 weeks to complete this self-paced course, from the date of commencement. The course is structured into five (5) modules.

- Procurement Methods and Levels of Competitions
- Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations 2025
