Program Overview:
This all-inclusive, comprehensive capacity-building training is designed to equip procurement committee members with the essential knowledge and skills needed to effectively make contract awards recommendations to the Head of Entity.
Who Should Attend:
- Procurement Committee members (Chairperson + 2 additional voting members) total 3 members
Training Details:
- Dates: October 31 and November 1, 2024
- Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Format: Face-to-Face
- Location: Jewel Paradise Cove, Silver Spray, Runaway Bay, St Ann
Note: The same content will be covered on both days, so participants will only need to attend one day.

- Procurement Law || Procurement Cycle || Roles and Responsibilities of the Procurement Committee
Requirements: All attendees MUST bring a laptop to the training.
Cost: Free
Registration: Each entity is to send an email to antonette.sinclair@mof.gov.jm and althea.francis@mof.gov.jm with the names and e-mails address of the three (3) candidates they are sending to the training. Our office will then send the registration link to the participants to complete.
Accommodation: The Office of Public Procurement Policy will NOT be providing accommodation for participants however, if you wish to make reservation at the hotel, please send an email to the above e-mails and and we will share the reservation link from the hotel.
