What We Do
The Office of Public Procurement Policy is mandated by the Government of Jamaica to develop and implement public procurement policy aligned with Jamaica’s development goals.
How We Do It
Our approach is to encourage thoughtful, evidence-based, and data-informed procurement decision making,
whether in the conduct of procurement proceedings in each entity or in our management of the performance of our country procurement system.
Our work is driven by the objectives established in The Public Procurement Act 2015,
coupled with our core mission- to promote the highest standards of public procurement performance in Jamaica,
through continuous policy development, digital government solutions, professional development, and advisory.
